Barratt Due is the host of more than 100 concerts every year.

Concerts

Several concerts every week; about 130 every year.

The Barratt Due Symphony Orchestra holds concerts twice a year in the Oslo Concert Hall, or the Assembly Hall at the University of Oslo. Chamber concerts and recitals are organised throughout the year. All students on the four-year BA degree programme are required to give a recital in their final year.

In addition, Barratt Due frequently collaborates with keynote, professional actors in the world of arts and culture. In recent years, this has included the National Touring Concert Institute (Rikskonsertene), the Bergen Music Festival, the Norwegian Radio Orchestra and the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation.

The concerts are held at the in-house Chamber Hall unless stated otherwise. If you want to take a look at the upcoming concerts, please click on concerts here, or on the left menu. Most of our concerts are free of charge, unless they are held at external venues or are somewhat special, which will usually be mentioned on these pages.

All of the programming is in Norwegian. Please contact our head of concerts, Torfinn Hoffart, for any enquiries regarding concerts.
