Mariia Kostogryz is a violinist from Ukraine, Kharkiv. Mariia has previously studied in Kharkiv State Music Lyceum with Lyudmila Varenina. In 2021 she started bachelor’s degree in University of Drama, Music and Media Hanover with Professor Ulf Schneider. Currently she is continuing her bachelor’s degree with an exchange year at the Barratt Due Institute of Music, studying under Professor Alf Richard Kraggerud.
Mariia won the concert competition at the Luzerne Music Center in New York, USA, in 2019. She frequently takes part in international master classes with renowned professors such as Mihaela Martin, Kirill Troussov, and Oleksii Semenenko, including programs like Astona International in Switzerland, Luzerne Music Center in the USA, and Verao Classico in Lisbon.
Mariia is also actively involved in chamber music,
She performs as part of a family duo with her sister, Nataliia Kostogryz. Together, they participated in the IMAS 2024 master classes in Germany, studying with Professor Boris Kusnezow.
Mariia performs at prestigious festivals, including the Tsinandali Festival and the Rome Chamber Music Festival.
