Audition

Fees

Application fee: All applicants must pay an application fee of 250NOK; this applies to all applicants, for any course. Payments should be made to account no: 60110646650. IBAN: NO2360110646650. Swift/bic: NDEANOKK

Accompanist fee: Applicants that wish to use Barratt Due's accompanist at the audition must pay a fee of 250NOK. This is paid in cash at the audition.

Requirements

Applicants for the Bachelor courses must have completed upper secondary school before the start of term. Admission is based on the audition. Younger applicants that haven't completed upper secondary school may only apply to the 3-year bachelor course, and are subject to an extended audition. Those that are accepted to the 4-year bachelor course must provide a CRB check.

Applicants to the Master courses must hold a bachelor's degree in music performance, or equivalent qualification.

Applicants to the further education courses must have completed musical theory study at bachelor level, or equivalent. Entrance is usually based on the application; though in a select few cases, the applicant may be called to an audition. Those that are given admission to the PPU course must provide a CRB check.

Auditions

Bachelor courses: The weekend in week 10.

Master courses: The weekend in week 8.

When the closing date for applications has passed, all applicants will recieve a dust jacket for further information about autitions, sheet music etc.

Please fill out the form carefully. When you send the form, you should recieve an e-mail confirmation. If you do not recieve said confirmation, you should look through your spam filter as it might end there. If the form isn't anywhere to be found, please contact us to be sure that we have recieved your application.

Principal instrument audition

In addition to the bulletpoints below, the prinicpal instrument audition also includes prima vista and a innstuderingsoppgave (denne deles ut 1 time før selve prøven).
Alternate repertoire can be approved.
