At Barratt Due, we focus on your musical and instrumental development.

Barratt Due has joined forces with some of the foremost teachers and performers in the country. Together with the students, they create an environment that places a strong emphasis on dialogue and interaction between students and teachers. A student may work with up to two or three different teachers, depending on their individual instrumental or musical needs.

The musicians of tomorrow may face many different challenges. Their most important attributes however will continue to be deep musical understanding, technical accomplishment and, of course, the joy of playing for others; our concerts therefore play a pivotal role throughout the period of study. Through courses and seminars with guests from various areas of the arts, we wish to give our students an important insight and understanding of a cultural life that is constantly changing and developing.

We regard master classes with top national and international performers and teachers as essential, both for each individual student and for the development of our departments.

We set high musical standards for admission onto our courses. In return, students benefit from an excellent academic environment where everything is geared toward individual growth and musical progression.
